Do you need to use an Extract from the Commercial Register abroad? We will take care of everything – from obtaining the extract from a notary or the Chamber of Commerce, verifying signatures, and securing an Apostille or Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation, to providing certified translations. We handle the entire process and deliver the final verified document anywhere in the Czech Republic or abroad.
An Extract from the Commercial Register is a key document for business and legal purposes in the Czech Republic. It can be issued by the following institutions:
Important: Extracts issued by Czech Post or municipal offices cannot usually be apostilled or superlegalised, as most employees do not have registered signature specimens at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Likewise, printed copies from public databases such as ARES cannot be apostilled.
Because the extract is a public document, we can obtain it on your behalf without a power of attorney from the company director. After issuance, we will arrange the Apostille or Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation, including translation, and send the verified extract directly to you.
The extract is issued only in Czech. Most foreign authorities require a certified translation into the language of the destination country. For Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation, a translation into English or the official language of the country is typically required, and in some cases, the translation itself must be superlegalised.
We will handle all translations for you as part of our complete service.
Certified translations are part of most apostille or superlegalisation cases.
As a translation agency, we naturally provide certified (official) translations into all major world languages as part of our service.
We will take care of certified copies of your documents, or arrange for signature verification with our notary.
We can also convert electronic documents into physical form and obtain official extracts on your behalf — such as criminal record extracts or entries from the Commercial Register.
We will represent you at the authorities to obtain vital records or, for example, a criminal record extract, based on a certified power of attorney. This power of attorney can be arranged either at a Czech POINT office or at a Czech embassy or consulate abroad.
Apostille: Translation is not required for the Apostille itself, but to use the document abroad,
a certified translation into the official language of the destination country is usually necessary.
Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation: Always requires a certified translation into English or the destination language.
