We provide complete Apostille and Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation services for Certificates of Origin, including notary services and certified (sworn) translations. The Certificate of Origin, issued by the Czech Chamber of Commerce, is an essential document for export, customs clearance, and international trade. Our service covers the entire process – verification at the Chamber of Commerce, Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation, and secure delivery within the Czech Republic or abroad.
The Certificate of Origin, issued by the Czech Chamber of Commerce, proves the country of origin of goods and is required for customs procedures and international trade transactions.
Certificates of Origin are issued exclusively to Czech business entities.
You can order the Certificate of Origin online via the Czech Chamber of Commerce at this link.
Important: Certificates issued outside Prague cannot be superlegalised. If you are located outside Prague and cannot obtain the document directly from the Prague Chamber of Commerce, you can apply online or send us your completed certificate forms — we will have them verified for you at the Chamber of Commerce in Prague. You can find a template for printing here and an example of a completed certificate here. Blank forms are available free of charge at any Chamber of Commerce office in the Czech Republic.
We can also have your Certificate of Origin verified at the Chamber of Commerce on your behalf, without the managing director’s presence. In some cases, a power of attorney may be required.
Note: Apostille cannot be issued for Certificates of Origin – only Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation and consular verification are possible.
The Certificate of Origin is issued in English, so translation is usually not required. If needed, we can still arrange a certified translation into another language.
Certified translations are part of most apostille or superlegalisation cases.
As a translation agency, we naturally provide certified (official) translations into all major world languages as part of our service.
We will take care of certified copies of your documents, or arrange for signature verification with our notary.
We can also convert electronic documents into physical form and obtain official extracts on your behalf — such as criminal record extracts or entries from the Commercial Register.
We will represent you at the authorities to obtain vital records or, for example, a criminal record extract, based on a certified power of attorney. This power of attorney can be arranged either at a Czech POINT office or at a Czech embassy or consulate abroad.
No. The Certificate of Origin is issued in English and is accepted by all embassies. However, if the foreign recipient requires it, we can provide a certified translation into the requested language.
Certificates of Origin are typically recognised under international trade agreements such as Free Trade Agreements. Many countries verify authenticity directly with the issuing authority (Czech Chamber of Commerce) or through official databases. Because the Chamber of Commerce uses its own seal (not the state seal), the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs can issue only a legalisation clause — not an Apostille. When higher-level verification is needed, Superlegalisation / Embassy Attestation is carried out at the relevant embassy or consulate.
Some embassies (e.g. Thailand) require a power of attorney signed by the company’s managing director (verified by a notary or Czech Point). We can provide a suitable template upon request.
Yes, but we must have a notarised or Czech Point-verified power of attorney to represent you before the Chamber of Commerce. Without it, the certificate cannot be issued.
